UX led product design is now more popular than ever before. I founded UXD Financial because I recognised that although there is a wealth of talented product design resource available today, design resource with detailed financial product knowledge and actual trading platform design experience is scarce. I see institutions handing over millions to consultancies that talk a good talk because they’ve hired an ex-derivatives trader as a sales person but end up landing a team of junior designers on site and take it as a domain learning opportunity on the clients time.
Then they end up delivereing a set of template stock personas explaining to the business what they sort of already knew.. Sound familiar?
